I've been following the appearance of the E2XXX series Pentiums as close as I've been able, mostly since, well... I have a lot of Pentium Ds running at my house, and it's summer; thus, it's hot. And the E2XXXs would be cool.
So, here is the question: Are they ever getting launched to the retail scene, in desktops, or are they going to be notebook only?
The most relevant link I have on any information is an xbit article from awhile back: http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/display/20061115223825.html
So, anyone know? Will we ever be able to purchase a Core-derivative Pentium for ~80 bucks on Newegg?
