Even if you don't OC, I'd recommend a *Celeron DC* (especially E3300) over a Pentium DC E5xxx. The cache difference between the two is not large enough to make a difference in applications; worse, E3300 has VT-x support (which most E5xxx Pentium DCs don't have). Lastly, the E3300 is cheap (generally no worse than $50USD new, even retail; in fact, MC stocks it for $40USD). Naturally if you do OC (this is [H], after all), the E3300 is an even bigger bargain, as it overclocks taller than the Pentium DC counterpart with identical cooling.

Mighty Mouse (with an E1200 currently) is due for the E3300 swap on Monday (earned some money over the weekend, so I'm finally going with some hardware-virtualization action).
