I know this has been probably been discussed before but I cannot find anything here or on Intels website. I found info mainly on the Core Duo stuff.

Anyone know the max temp in Celsius or Far for Pentium D 900 series CPUs? I have a Pentium D 925 that is hitting 45~52 degrees Celsius. I have a Zalman CPS9500 heatsink/fan combo in an Antec P180b case. I think I may end up adding more fans. Maybe some more efficient fans then what came with the case.

Thanks

Justin

Your temps are perfectly normal. Max would likely be somewhere between 70 and 80 degrees celsius.

Thanks. I've been running a P4 2.53GHz since it was first introduced (kind of gives you an idea when I last built a new computer) that runs at around 41 degrees C. So seeing temps over 45 degrees C is kind of a new thing.

I read on Intels website that the max at 95watts is around 61 degrees Celsius. I thought that was wrong because there would be a lot of fried processors by now.
