Alright, I've been getting really low FPS in games such as Battlefield 2: Desert Combat and Day of Defeat: Source, regardless of my visual grahpics settings. Could this be because my Pentium D 805 @ 3.5GHz is bottlenecking? Whats the issue? Thanks alot.

Karant, first try upgrading memory to 2gb, Battlefield is really memory-hungry
I agree. I tried 1gb when i first got my memory and played Bf2. It sucked. Popped the other gb in there and it was fine.

Yeah get more RAM. I'd say your cpu and gpu currently are perfect matches.
I had 1.5gigs of ram and overclocked the core 2 duo a bit. I was gaining averagely 40fps.
Exact same setup except the CPU.
With the x850 XT?

Yes. With the 850xt. Same settings same setup. But you definitely need more ram for Battlefield 2

No. Your next upgrade should be a C2D. An overclocked D 945 would give you only a 5-10% increase if that.
First try upgrading memory to 2gb, since you got ddr2, you'll be able to reuse it with c2d anyways. Also try overclocking and see how added memory and oc helps out.. There's no reason to upgrade cpu and mobo for $300 if you can get something out of your current setup with moderate investment in memory which will need anyways for the upgrade

I'd say more ram and more video card.
I got a similar setup, expect, I have more ram, and a 8800 gts 640mb.
I run hl2dm with all settings maxed and wide screen resolutions with no probs.

I don't think it is much of a bottleneck. More ram, then video card. Sure a c2d will get you a few more fps but nothing like a new video card.
