:) hi ppl,can ne1 tell me if this cpu has hyperthreading on it,and one more thing,is it a northwood,here's whats on the chip -PENTIUM 4 2.60GHZ/512/800 SL6WH MALAY thnx in advance.
 
Yes, that is definitely a Northwood. You can commonly tell the difference between a Northwood and a Prescott CPU by the size of the cache:

Northwood = 512K
Prescott = 1MB
 
Not to hijack your thread bro.. but i have a 2.6 P4 that i was curious about as well and maybe i can find out what it is as well. Its is everybit the same markings as yours but Costa Rica instead of Malay.. Any difference in the chips?
