Pen Mark on Monitor's Screen!

I have no idea how it got on there, but I get home and there it is. There's two pen marks very close, one about 2 or 3 mm's long and one just a speck. They are a huge distraction! How can I get it off???
 
lcd, a dell 2005fpw. I've heard eyeglass cleaner works, is that true?
