Hi all,

OK some more pelt related action.

Has anyone tried using a pelt to cool a waterblock that is installed in series with another waterblock that cools the CPU. I read an article somewhere on this but can't find it. This sounds like it might be more promising then trying to cool the radiator. Any info apreciated.

Yes, that's called a waterchiller. The problem is that you need another watercooling loop to cool the peltier and an even better/bigger radiator in that loop.

no you dont need another water cooling loop just dont use a 226W pelt. I have been testing a 55W pelt for a little bit, and have a 95 sitting right here thats waiting for a power supply. I stuck the 55W pelt on another waterblock with a stock barton heatsink and fan on it and it droped my temps 6 degree at idle, and 5 load. I'm in the process of building a custom watercooling box, where everything will be in a custom alluminum box im making, with high flow quick disconnects on the tubes leading ot my computer, so i can move everything around easily.

I just did this so I'm still testing everything, just wanted to find something to stick my pelt on and its working great, I'll be posting a work log next week some time to show you guys everything its going to be crazy, and if i have room in my little external watercooling box, ill stick in the 95W pelt chilling the water.

Yes but in order to run it without a radiator you need a powerful enough peltier or several lower power peltiers to pump the heat generated by the CPU and whatever else you're cooling. So yes, you could use several smaller air-cooled peltiers, but then you'd also need more chiller blocks, fans, heatsinks, etc...
