Pelt Insulation clearance dilema!!

I just joined Hard, but I always read and I've been recently thinking of venturing into pelt cooling. A friend of mine Hark has already posted on my behalf here

But I think it is best if I don't tax him with the job of posting lol. Now I have two questions. As you can see from the picture in that thread the capacitors are very close to the upper socket, now from as far as I can see I have two possible options:

1.Relocate the capacitors ( desolder em off and mount them elsewhere probably on some spare pcb board and extend to original connections using wires) I don't want to really change the motherboard as I don't think I will be able to replace this one.

2. Use expanding foam or similar to insulate around the cap. Now I don't know if this is safe because won't the caps get hot? and overheat?

I would try to cut reliefs in the foam of the water block for the caps.
Then I would make sure to insulate the board better by using a thin sheet of foam with holes cut out for the caps.
Thats what I would try and if it doesn't work you can always order replacement gasket sets from Swiftech.

This looks awesome I'd love to see that thing completed, keep us updated.
