Peerguardian 2 FTL?

Hey all,
I downloaded and installed peerguardian 2 on my system, worked perfectly the first time, then when i shut down comp and came back the next day, it wouldnt start up, i double click it, it says cancel or allow, and then nothing seems to happen.. In my task manager, it says its running, but im unable to find it in the bottom right of my monitor , help plz?

I believe the cancel/allow window appears when it's trying to update itself and the P2P list. Sounds like it can't reach either site. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking it.
