Now that the BH-5's are gone, anyone reccomend 2x 512 sticks of ram that will go cas 2-2-2-11 @ 200 mhz? I've heard some of the BH-6's will do such speeds, just wondering for confirmation. Over 200 really isn't a factor for me, so long as the timings are tight at 200.

Thanks

BH5 isn't completely gone. You can still find some KHX3200/512 non-A at zipzoomfly unless they've sold out since yesterday.

Yeah, BH-6 can do 2-2-2-11 timings (it's rated for 2-2-2-5/6, I forget which one it was).

Hmm any links to current modules that are non windbond bh-5's that will do the 2-2-2-6/5 (11) then? The only bh-6 chips I can find (hyper x khx3200A is rated at 2-3-2-6 ><) or am I mistaken about the khx3200a?

Mushkin lvl 2 uses BH-6 chips now. They are 166mhz chips in comparison to the BH-5 200Mhz chips they used to use. They will run 200Mhz and 2-2-2.

im positive that they are ch-5 sticks

Your sure your positive about that. When did you buy the DIMM's and where? CH-5 chips cannot run 2-2-2 stable. The RAS to CAS delay will cause the system to become unstable if run lower then 3. HyperX PC3500 used to use BH-5 chips way back when over the summer.

I am using CH-5 and can't even post into Windows at 2-2-2-11.

I could be wrong, but I believe those are CH5 chips. However, from what I've heard they are top of the mill CH5.

Remember, CH-5 can not handle 2-2-2 timings without errors or problems. They are rated 2-3-2.

The only bh-6 chips I know of are Mushkin Special 2-2-2, which are sold at Newegg and on Mushkin's site.

so basically mushkin is the only option now for 222-6/5 sticks? :x And no, zipzoom or any type of store like that is not an option.
