my system has been running quite well with this psu. only problem is that it's a little loud. even when idle, the fan runs at full speed and emits a humming sound. i dont mind it too much, especially since it doesnt buzz like my sp400 did, but i would like to control the speed of the fan and maybe slow it down a little.

Short of opening it up and making major modifications, there's not much you can really do. You can buy the silverstone psu muffler, which just redirects the air and noise straight down, but that's about it.
