I put this here since these are becoming a common thing for vertical GPU mounts depending on the case.

I did some research and found that most of these have loss and have issues. This is especially true down in the cheap range.

After searching around the 3m seemed to be the best option until i was watching a few videos of Illya “TiN” Tsemenko who is the electrical engineer behind the EVGA classified/Kingpin stuff and the latest dark motherboards along with K|ingp|n.

He was using a riser cable that was lossless for their testing. He stated that this is the best one made and said the companies name. Samtec. This clicked to me as Samtec actually has a location local to me and a couple of friends and family members work there. This cable is truly lossless on PCI-E 3.0 and 4.0 up to 100m.

So i ordered one and i really must say the quality of this piece is great. This company is known for producing high speed and high quality backplane components. Its not all blacked out and aesthetically pleasing but this is truly a function over form part.

do you know if they sell those online? im working on a concept that needs a good riser cable. the reviews or lack thereof on newegg scare me for what they have available.
