So yeah, new to this, I'm configuring an old PC as a smoothwall server, and I was wondering if it was possible to use a Wireless-G PCI card as an access point rather than just ad-hoc.
At the moment, the only stable wireless AP I have is in the DSL modem that I'm going to have on the red side of the firewall, I have a cheap old Belkin router I can use on the purple network, but it has to be reset constantly...that's why I quit using it. I'd like to get this system up and running with no money spent. So...anyone know if it can be done?
