Im getting so much stuttering in games, as if the pc is skipping frames when playing.

worst in fear, also does it in civ4 and bf2.

i heard this tool can help massively, but havnt got a clue what to change as my gc isnt on their, any ideas?

It's reading 0 across the boards... it doesn't look to safe to me, is there a check frequency option in one of those menus?

what does task manager look like, anything else sucking up cpu cycles?

i take off everything i can before i play. including all the services i dont need.

I had horrible stuttering issues on my old Dell Dimension 8100 and never could figure out a cure. I tried moving the sound card around to different slots to no avail. I know I've heard of this program before at least a year or more back. Of all those listed I'd suggest changing the onboard sound first if you are using that. Is this the kind of stuttering where like the video freezes and the sound loops for two seconds then suddenly the video unfreezes and you've moved a ton?
