ok driving down the road like three days ago and a old server was on the side of the road so i grab it and got it working most of the way and i put a usb card in it and it did not find it at all now i put a cat5 card in it and it found it why?

ps,yes i put it in dif pci slots didn't work.
ps ps,if i can't make it work i'm making it in to a coffee table :D

are you positive that the card you're trying to get to work isn't defective or something? if it's not - it might be a sipmle incompatibility problem - you could prolly try to fix it by flashing the BIOS..
