PCI EXpress?

That and the regular 32-bit PCI slot will all be replaced by PCI-Express evenutally.

What. The X880 isn't until later this year, the X800 and X800XT are coming out around Juneish.

Current PCI will not be compatible with PCI-E slots; PCi-E uses a small serial connector that regular PCI cards won't be able to fit into.

And PCI-E will make PCI/AGP obsolete; mass market take over will be eventual, but we have to wait for more PCI-E devices to be announced.
 
For the first year or two PCI Express will still have Legacy PCI slots on the boards. The only thing that will be completely done away with right away is the AGP slot. So you'll have a PCI Express Graphics slot along with most likely 2 PCI Express slots and 3 normal PCI slots.

those are agp cards, the first one that is PCI -Ex is the X880, and that has the full 16 pipelines, rather than 8 or 12 of the pro and non pro, and is also based on the R423 core, not the 420.
