PCI-Express Cables - Single vs Dual

I own a Corsair HX620W, which included two modular 6-pin PCI-E cables. Sadly, this wouldn't work with my GTX570, which has two PCI-E connectors: one 6-pin, and an 8-pin.

I've been using adapters for the 8-pin connector, but recently received 8-pin cables from Corsair. Each Corsair cable includes two 8-pin connectors, so I can hook up the 570 with a single PSU connection.

Do you foresee any issues (under-powering, etc.) if I use Corsair's dual-cable, instead of two standard cables?

In this review they stated that the documentation says the load on each of the three rails should not exceed 18A.

GTX 570, worst case = ~300 W
GTX 570, average = ~170 W

If you don't plan on doing 1.2 V suicide benchmark runs (I'm exaggerating, you could pass 215 W with less), hooking it up with one cable would work. For your peace of mind, and the added stability and longevity afforded to your components and PSU, I'd recommend you use separate cables to split the load.
 
Well, I'm convinced. I was going to use the dual-cable to help with cable management, but this is more important.
