pci express adaptor question

I have the enermax galaxy 850w PSU. Later in February or March the next top end video card is coming out, probably call the 9800GTX. I know it will be in pci express 2.0 which will require 8 pin power. Now I believe that it will require x2 8 power pin per card. Im going to be running in SLI.

I don't want to buy another $350 psu which i just got this expensive psu in June this year. The power supply that I have has 2 of the 6+2 pin which is also 8 pin power connector for the future pci express 2.0
Which will be good for 1 video card. I also have 3 regular 6 pin pci express 1.0. Right now for my GTX I'm using 4 of the 6 pin. Question is I only have X2 8 pin adaptor, is there any way that I can mode, do or get an adaptor from 6 pin to 8 pin. I might need 2 more 8 pin. I have 5 12 volt rails on this psu. I don't want to use the 4 pin molex, that are already use for the pwr3 for the motherboard.

So "each" card will use 2 8 pin ones? doesnt PCIe 2 provider more power to the card, likely lessing the need for more power connectors...... Why not wait until it is out to find out, either you will need a new PSU or you wont
