PCI Express (3gio) when it be released?

I cant seem to find anywhere, where its going to be released. I want to get a new video card, but i dont want to wait. But if i knew when the card and boards are going to be released im going to holdoff. All i can find is when a expo going to be and all the stats for the cards. And is it really worth it to go with pci express, by looking at the video or how the gpu is working..its going to tight... post any help..and how you feel about the card
