PCI express 2.0 HELP!

The 3.0 PCI-e card will work just fine in your motherboard.
3.0 is a bandwidth increase, so it's sort of the same as taking your 1954 Chevy out for a spin on the freeway. Your car can only travel at 50 MPH, but the speedlimit is 65.
I have an ASUS Rampage III Formula board running two GTX 670s just fine. They are 3.0 and the board is "only" 2.0.

PCI-e 3.0 cards are backwards-compatible with PCI-e 2.0 slots. The card will simply run at PCI-e 2.0 bandwidth. However, the HD 7750 is not powerful enough to come anywhere close to saturating even PCI-e 2.0, let alone PCI-e 3.0.
So in saying this would you recommend this card or not? I do some gaming on the PC mostly XBOX, I want this card so I can send streaming video from my PC to a TV. Thanks Scott
You motherboard will be fine with this card in it, for whatever purpose you desire.
Ok one more question and I'm done...I got to looking at the 2 cards ( my current 9800 GT and the 7750 ) the 9800 Gt has 512 MB RAM and 256-bit GDDR3, the 7750 has 1 GB RAM and 128-bit GDDR5. So my question is with higher RAM but lower bit am I gaining that much or just the ability to have a HDMI output?
What's more important is the fact that 7750 is a DX11 card and has better compatibility for newer games as compared to 9800GT (DX10).
As far as the bit rate is concerned, they're almost equal seeing that 256-bit is based on DD3 bandwidth, whereas 128-bit is based on DDR5.
They actually aren't that close at all. The 9800 GT has ~57 MB/s memory bandwidth, while the 7750 has ~72 MB/s. Not that it really matters, as memory bandwidth is not as important for that level of card.
