PCI-e X800XT in the UK

What is the difference between a xt pe and a xt? 20MHz core and a bit on the mem?

That is a bloody good price for the UK only about £40 more than my GT and £70 less than any Ultra or XT PE

Yep - 500/500 for the XT, 520/560 for the XT-PE.

Great find, btw... I managed to get an Ultra from the same place, about 6 weeks back when they were still Gold dust. I'd never bought *anything* from PC world before (partly out of principle), but if they've got the difficult_to_find video cards in stock, I ain't cutting my nose to spite my face! :)
 
The box says Radeon X800XT-Platinum Edition

there are no plain X800XT's currently

nothing has been announced on that front

X800XT-PE
X800Pro

is what you got

some online stores are leaving off the PE part in their product descriptions

You're flat out wrong.

For PCI-Express bus, there is no Pro.
X800 XT PE, and
X800 XT.

For AGP bus, threre are
X800 XT PE, and
X800 Pro.

And yes, they're official from ATI.

did i say anywhere i was refering to specifically PCI-E? no

I am correct, the box screenshot on that website says X800XT-Platinum Edition

You are correct that there is a regular X800XT PCI-E

However what needs to be expanded on is that there ARE PCI-E and AGP versions of the X800Pro, X800XT and X800XT-PE.

I am also correct that some sites are leaving off the "PE" part when indeed they are PE parts.

For example that site says it is the X800XT, but the box shot clearly says X800XT-PE.

Yeah I know what you mean....I was amaazed to find that i could get a BFG 6800 Ultra from these guys....hats off to them for catering to us and at reasonable prices...10/10 for service too. The delivery was awesome and did cost and arm and a leg.
