The X800 XT AIW has been released at $500.00. For some stupid reasion it's AGP, though.

USB? heh wouldn't even a standard PCI tv card be better than a usb one?

That Stupid reason is because moving chipsets from AGP to PCIe is a hard thing to do. Look at the X800 and 6800 PCIe prices the reason they are high is due to the money spen on bridging them and the 6800's are higher priced due to the fact that they are not native PCIe.

I have yet to find anyone who owned a usb tv card have a complaint. They don't make a difference what system your running as long as you have usb 2.0.You also don't have to Find" the right slot and associated potential problems pci cards have. They're portable, plug and play.I'm happy with mine,i was just trying to suggest a alternative option for you.
Not all pci tv cards are equal.Go read some forums on tv cards and you'll see.getting the right chipsets are very important.
