Hello everyone :p
Been a lurker of [H] forums for quite a while now, and im thinking of starting a pretty extensive casemod in a while.
I have 4 gtx260 cards lying around, and was thinking of putting them to good use in a folding machine.
I want these watercooled, and i have acess to a couple of cnc milling machines, and was thinking of making custom waterblocks for the gtx260's.

Now i am wondering if anyone know of any pci-e dualslot adjustable supporter brackets because i have a feeling these custom waterblocks will be HEAVY ;)

Im from Norway, so if anyone know any retailers there it would be awesome considering the lower shipping and no toll, but if not any shop seling would be great.
 
Since you have access to CNCs, why don't you just make some yourself?
 
Was just wondering if there was any premade retail ones out there somewhere.
If there isnt any available ill just make some, but either way it would at least be nice for a reference design or something to go from :)
 
I know some cases have custom ones, but I don't know if there are any standard ones.
 
Well, i didn't get my hopes up really, but i figured i should ask anyways. Been googling around for something like that for a while now, but for no use :\ Guess ill order up some lexan and make one instead.
 
If you just make them out of aluminum and maybe some plastic for the top cap, then they shouldn't be too heavy at all. Waterblocks are fairly thin, and don't need to cover the entire card.
 
Hi Jesse B :) The waterblocks will be pure copper, as i have a bunch of 10x120mm about 20cm long bits of grounding rails lying about.
These blocks will probably be way to heavy and massive for use without any extra support for the cards. Gonna mill them out in 2 seperate layers, wich will be silver brazed to each other.

Also, thanks for the links Dantrax, gonna look at those a bit more. Even if they seem a bit too "flimsy" for my use. Dont know how much these brackets will hold before giving after.
 
Ahh, well in that case I agree they may be a tad heavy. Only one way to figure out :)
