PCI-e Sound cards?

no, not yet as far as I know. Apparently PCIe is not that great for audio as audio requires small data packages sent more frequently then video data. That increases size of the overhead information within data stream. I am sure this will be worked around, and later or sooner PCIe will fully replace PCI. But this has not happened yet....
I mean you did not miss anything :p
 
When it was announced, originally, the X-Fi was going to have a PCI Express version but they decided to hold off on it for a while, apparently.
