PCI-E riser/usb expansion card for mining on single board. Need help....

My list of questions will be:

How do I know if I have enough paths to handle additional cards using this expansion.

MSI 990FX-G65 (2x16 PCI-e) (3x 1 PCI-e) 5 GPUs installed

Asus Sabertooth X58 (3x16 PCI-e) (2x 1 PCI-e) 5 GPUs installed

Both boards are populated with risers cards on each slot. I am trying to add more GPUs without needing more boards.

Afaik your motherboard must support 4G Decoding in order to use more than 6 gpu.

Afaik your motherboard must support 4G Decoding in order to use more than 6 gpu.

x58 and 990fx do not have 4g decoding so I will need new motherboards and cpu.
