Perhaps someone could lend a hand here:

I just got one of these Shuttle SB81Ps and, for the life of me, I can't install the X800XT PCI-E card I have--it's as if the card doesn't exist (minus that I can get basic VGA out of the DVI port under something called 'SafeVGA'). I've installed all chipset drivers and enabled PCI-E in CMOS but I cannot get the box to detect the card nor can I install the drivers as it keeps giving me errors that the card isn't there.

Any ideas?

What make of card is it?
I know other ppl on other forums have discussed problems with ASUS X800XT and X600XT PCIE cards

Further to my last.

Will it run on the hardwired graphics chip, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 (GMA900)?

Try swapping the memory sticks over and making sure they are installed correctly. Sounds a bit silly but I have read that it works for others.

Saffire X800XT...got it to work...OEM card but the the included CD, for some reason, didn't have compatible Cats on it...which is pretty bizarre (should have paid more attention to the install sequence). DL'ed 'em from ATI and it works fine now.

Thanks for chiming in, though--I appreciate taht someone is there to help!
