PCI-e Extender?

Anyone know if such a thing exists? I have a PCP&C Power Supply and a Lian-Li v2000... the PCI-e power leads from the PCP&C are too short to reach all the way up to a reverse mounted video card.

Thanks much!

Does one of your drive Molexes reach? You could use a four pin Molex with the adapter that comes with the video card.

And when it comes to cables, extensions, etc.: At Performance PC's, anything exists even if it has to be made to order. ;)

I don't see one, either. You can probably buy the parts needed for one from Digikey, or use an adaptor from 4-pin Molex to 6-pin pci-e. I don't know what the specs of the actual connector are, or I'd link part numbers, but they're out there somewhere.

Offtopic, but this is pretty freakin' cool :D

Yeah... Perf-PCs has always amazed me with the sheer volume of itmes they stock (including items I've never seen at any other state-side merchant). Plus (with one exception) everything has always been top notch quality, shipping, and service.

Checked there but couldn't find one... maybe I should check a little closer.

I'd considered using the molex>PCI-e adapter but wasn't sure if PCP&C built the PSU to deal with GPU load on a seperate rail or something and wanted to stick with PCI-e to PCI-e. If that's not meant to be then I guess I'll have to use the adapter since, yeah, the Molex will reach.

Noone's found anything?

Perf-PC has the connectors, looks like I'm going to have to make one, hu? I hate trying to crimp those stupid molex pins. Grrrrrrr.

If you feel like voiding the warranty, you can splice in some 12-gauge wire and solder everything back together.

Refrased: If you feel like voiding the warranty and blowing your psu up due to bad wiring..
