Can any one please tell if PCI-E 2.0 cards are compatable with an ASUS M2N32-SLi board that i want to get for my first build

PCI-E 2.0 cards are compatable with PCI-E 1.1 and PCI-E 1.0.

Not all boards are compatable with the cards tho. The Asus boards with VIa chipsets seem to have huge issues with the PCI-E 2.0 cards according to what I've read on the Asus support boards). Yours will work fine however.

I want to say thank you to the guys that helped me and i have one final question being a noob and all,
what is the difference between the standards is 2.0 just a revised form that has the ability to draw more power from the slot or what
