PCI-E 1X Sound Cards?

I am dissapointed with the onboard sound on the Shuttle SN25P and I was wonderring what if any sound cards are available in the PCI-E 1X flavor? If I cant find anything I will probably just end up with an external Audigy, but I would like to try to find something internal.

thay said on there msg board that PCIe 1x was not as good for sound for some resion >.>
and it was actly slower for the X-fi in the way its setup right now
