I'd like to upgrade my 8800GTS512 to a Radeon 5850, but my motherboard is only PCI-Express 1.0, and i know the 5850 is ver 2.0. I know it's backwards compatible with 1.0, but will I see a significant speed decrease due to the reduced bandwidth? If so, by how much? I'm already having to upgrade my power supply for the 5850, and would rather not have to upgrade my motherboard as well.

16 lan pci exprees 1.0 = 8 lan pci express 2.0. there is about a 1-2% difference in performance if you have the full bandwidth of the 16 lan pci express 2.0. so it nothing to worry about.
