PCI card installation order?

I read somewhere a while ago, that there can be a "better" order to install certain PCI devices into your system. Like a sound card would work best in slot 3, etc etc. Anyone else ever heard of such a thing? I've sent an email to Abit asking the same question, and I'm tired of waiting for the response now.
 
I've heard something like that with the nics. I just dont care anymore, I say anyorder any slot is fine.

I put the bigger cards on bottom, smaller cards towards the top.
Anything to help make room for the video card fan.
