hey guys im prepping this sony viao pcg-7R2L(numbers on the bottom) VGN-Fe770G (numbers on the bezel) for my younger cousin

the motherboard specs say 2 gb max.... i had a 2 gb stick lying around so i popped it in with the 2gb and a 512 it already had in it and it recognized the 2.5

anyone have experience with this laptop and know if it can hold more ram like 2 x2gb sticks?

also do you think ill be doing dmg to the board or laptop or is it ok
