Hi

right now i dont have very much money and am building a pc off a AMD 64 3200+ and Asus motherboard based off the Via K8T800 chipset. I was wondering is it ok to use two sticks of 512mb PC 2100 Samsung (Cas 2.5) will i notice any problems or have any problems cause i heard that the 754's dont like certain memory. And right now i just dont have enough to get 1gb of Geil 3200 (cas 2.5) ram.

Check my sig, the memory really holds me back, I'd say get a 512 stick of 3200 now if you can, cause 2100 really, really sucks now.

Wait till you have enough $ for ram, or wait for 64 prices to drop by around x-mas time.
You can do with 2100, but I would rather wait. or just get one generic 256 stick of pc4000 for like $50 at newegg, and underclock/time it. As long as u get no errors, and the clock/timings, to stick its par for par the same as other ram.

Well i dont know too much about Ocing. This would just be temporary, the 2100 ram wouldnt be my main ram. I would be getting that Geil Dual Channel Ram package sometime in the next month but just for the time being would it be ok to use the 2100? I dont want to screw everything up.
