Alright so I built the PC in my sig, hooked it all up, and hit the power switch. All the fans start up for a split second and then everything stops. Except the LED on the motherboard which shows power. The only way to make it do this again is to shut of power on the power supply and then turn it back on. Any idea what the problem could be?

edit: I've disconnected everything but 1 RAM module, Videocard, CPU, and power. It booted. I'll test one thing at a time

I had this same problem a while back. It was happening because I had an extra riser post under the motherboard and it was shorting out.

I just unpluged, cleaned out the holes, and repluged everything in. Works now.
