PC tech station?

What do you guys think about using a PC Tech Station (the open air cases) for an HTPC that needs to be stored in a cabinet with mesh grille sides?

Of course using fanless components....
 
I don't see a problem, especially if it won't be disturbed often. Many people (me included) have ran computers case-less on desks or tables for months without problem while we waited for parts or a case...
 
Try PMing Dan or Morry, I'm sure they have a couple going in the bunker that they use for their reviews. Or maybe go ask over in the Motherboards section, as I imagine that's where those guys hang out more.
