Hi guys would like some help.
So here’s my setup and scenario.
I have the on-board sound card and a Creative Recon 3D. I have a 5.1 speaker setup and a 5.1 headset. I would like all the audio to be sent to both outs at the same time.
I currently have the on-board disabled, since I don’t use it, I switch between the two setups by changing the connectors at the back but I’m sure there has to be another way.
The reason for the 2 different setups is, speakers for when wife is at work and gunfire sound lekker loud like real gunfire and headset for when she is home and or sleeping.
Could I have the speakers hooked to the on-board sound and headset hooked to the Recon 3D and then do some windows settings voodoo magic to get them both to work at the same time?
BTW mobo: Z77 UD3H Gigabyte
I just found this (last post) but there isnt really and detail regarding the steps, maybe if i was close to my pc i could test it.
Anyone here know anything or has done this that can give feedback?
