ok i live in the metro-detroit area ( i am not black(no offence to anyone but i get it a lot when i say that) and actually live in a very safe area) just thought u would like to know that and not to jump to conclusions like i will get shot or anything.

back to the point......there are these huge pc shows at this place called the Gibralter Trade Center and i herd u can get stuff for cheap there.......and by pc shows, i mean a show where a bunch of people sell and buy stuf(not a showroom)

....is it safe to buy stuff from these places and i herd stuff like that u will get the wrong part and that the parts are falsely advertised and stuff like that so i would like to have ur insights on this.....

......i am greatfull for any feedback on this topic...

I've never been to one of those. I have however been to the car stereo shows like that. Most of the crap they are selling is refurbished. If you don't mind buying refurbished stuff then you should be okay.

I used to shop at those shows all the time back before there were things like online retailers. I never got burned, but I believe that they charge an admission fee, so unless you like a hands-on experience or don't have a credit card, you may be better off looking for deals at reputable online places.
