Recently built a 939 based system with XP. It boots fine but after a period of time, it freezes. Disabled Cool and Quiet. Ran Memtest. Unsure why it freezes. Hardware below

MSI K8N Neo2 Plat
Opteron 170
Radeon X850XT PE
PCP&C 510D
TwinX1024XL
2 WD1600JBs
LiteOn SOWH1633S and Sony DDU1612

When does the system freeze? Is it during gaming for example?

Is it possible that you're overclocking and the Vcore needs the voltage raising? It is possible that this could cause your system to freeze. I have come accross something similar while overclocking and raising the voltage to the CPU resolved the problem.

It freezes when I do stuff in Windows. Haven't tried gaming yet.

I'm assuming that you aren't overclocking. Where did you buy the processor? I've had serious issues with the one from Monarch's recent sales. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to return it. . .it won't run Prime95 stable for more than four hours at stock speeds; often, it faults around one hour. . .I did have under-voltage problems until recently when I got my new S12 500, but the damn thing still throws errors.
