Hello,
I am experiencing some strange behaviors from my computer. I have noticed that undel heavy load like FarCry, Battlefield2 and such, my PC is halting like 20-30 sec before working again.
This is happening since I have swapped my V1.02 P4C800-E to a 2.00 P4C800-E. At the same time, I did swap my old PSU (Enermax EG461P-VE) for the one in my sig, which is supposed to be even better. Also, when I installed my new motherboard, I immediately flash the BIOS to 1021. Before I made all these changes, my PC was rock stable at 3.75GHz at default voltage. You may ask, "why the hell have you swapped all this if it was stable?"... Well, I sold my old parts to a friend so that he can set up a gaming machine for rather cheap so at the same time, I did pick up "better parts". Right now, I have these problems. I cannot locate for sure where the problem comes from. I do know that if I put back my CPU at 3.75GHz, I get some error with ATi VPU recover and I am forced to put the voltage up to 1.60V.
The thing that annoys me much is that the PC is halting for unknown reasons, even if I put all back to default. I did even a clean reformat with no luck.
Any clue? I definately neep some help
