Every people here talks about testing an overclock under heavy load,
this is the most common testing while overclocking but how to test the cold boot?

I have more problem on cold boot that under heavy stress test.
Sometimes, when the Volt on the CPU is not enough I have a freeze on cold boot and not on heavy load.
Is there a way to test this situation without spending weeks finding the correct voltage for cold boot?

how low its the voltage of the CPU?.. the problem with that CPU its that you depend exclusively on the Load to achieve certain speed.. you need to mess with the BCLK to reach more than 4.2ghz on single threaded load, each cold boot put different load in the CPU and the voltage demand can be too high or too low depending on that load specially if LLC is at 0% and can have some serious drop spikes of voltage.. and then it can crash, BSOD or just freeze due to low voltage... i had that same chip and i was using medium LLC (25%) with a offset voltage of -0.070 working like a champion not a single issue... what method are you using to set voltage? manual or offset?.

I'm not referring to the CPU in signature but to my OC experience in general.
My 2600 is running at 1.160V without any issue neither in cold or hot environment.
