PC giving me hell, need some insite please

Hey guys, Ive had this PC running fine for some time now (9months +/-) And as soon as I tried to swap my main hdd with a newer one it started giving me what looks like power problems. Boot up but monitor doesnt turn nor does the keyboard and mouse. So after fiddling around with it I went back to the old hdd and it didnt work at first so I unplugged the power cord and let the computer sit for about a hour then then tried it again. Poof it works now :confused: So to make a story short the computer has been getting slowly worst and slower... I cant even have my CD drives plugged in without it need booting up, or even plug in my USB cord for my digi camera. I did buy a new Antec TruePower 430 and it does the same exact thing my Thermaltake was. If you guys have any idea what this could be let me know. The next thing I plan on doing is replacing the mobo if I cant figure out whats going on.

i think its the mobo if you just chaned the psu and it does the same thing
