I m having this problem that whenever im playing a graphic extensive game on my 7600GT on intel 945. THe pc turns off after a while . But the strange thing is that the leds on my keyboard representing numlock and capslock on/off , remains on. The power led on the casing also remains on while everything else is off i.e the cpu and powersupply fan ,monitor.
I don't get any problem when im only browsing my computer ,watching movies or other usual stuff. It only happens when im playing a heavy game.

What could cause such a problem. What does the symptoms say? Is it because of the power supply.

I would first check your temps while running a game. Speedfan lets you set up a temp log so while you are gaming it will record the temps and you can see where they were when your problem occurs. Well I hope so anyway, I would start there. Investigate how you can check your video card GPU temp too. I dont have an Nvida card so I cannot tell you how to do that and the video temp monitoring ability varies per card. Howeve since it only happens while gaming I would take a hard look at the video card in general for temps, latest drivers, and any reported problems with the game(s) you play.

that looks like temp problem, make sure the heatsink/fan on gpu and cpu are properly seated and working.
