PC freezes when I play audio...

It had originally just done this crap when I used Winamp. See this thread: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=837607

Now it does it with WMP as well. It does it at random times. After it freezes this damn annoying eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee noise will follow and not stop until I restart.

I have the most up to date drivers for my SB Audigy ES and everything is installed correctly so I am not sure what could be the cause of this.

Any ideas?

are you sure it's your sound card? I'd suggest running memtest86..
