Thanks in advance

I am wanting to purchase a Ethernet PC Card for my laptop but am still unsure about what I need.

I have found someone selling cheap Type iii Xircom 10/00 Cardbus adapters, however I have a Toshiba A110 with 2x 32bit Type ii interfaces. Now these are one above the other and appear to have an overall thickness of 1cm, which is around the standard for Type iii carbus adapters.

Would I be buying the wrong thing if I got this card?

Sounds like you got it right.
If this is the Xircom card i am thinking about, it's orange & gray. (or blue and gray if it has been manfactured after intel bought Xircom)

It will fill up both slots, so you can't have a second card in there.
If you need to use 2 cards at once, you'll need a 'dongle' or 'pigtail' that clicks into the card.

ahh thanks for the info

yeah it's the red and black ones (ethernet cardbus)

thanks again
