hi all, im getting a new headset in a few days (Tritton AX51) and i was wondering if anyone knows where, if anywhere, i can find an audio switch to switch between my speakers and headset, so im not constantly behind my case unplugging/plugging cables. Any help would be appreciated.

The Plantronics .audio pc switcher is the only product i've found that does this. You might think its awesome from the description, but its not.

Buy this crap at your own risk, it will break, guarenteed

I thought mine was awesome for a week, until it stopped making a solid connection to the speakers or headset. The jacks they use are just crap. Internals are probably crap too. I'm thinking of taking mine apart and fitting better jacks in it.

It's so frustrating because its exactly the product i needed, and appears to be the only model for sale from anybody.

Yeah, i saw that plantronics one, and i figured it would be crap. besides, it wouldnt work for me anyway, cause both the headset and my speakers have 3-4 3.5mm connectors. Thanks anyway guys. Guess i'll have to switch em out every time i go to use the headset

You could run a normal 3.5mm extention cable from the rear of your pc to someplace more convenient so you can save the strain as you switch over. You would still need to unplug and replug stuff, but it would work.

Thanks, i hadn't thought of that. That would definitely be better than changing them behind my case every time. :D
