I talk about a SECURITY PROBLEM with paypal and my thread gets closed, FURTHERMORE im asked to PAY MONEY to talk about paypal on hardocp?

are you kidding me? i mean i like this forum but if thats actually the case... theres plenty of other forums to talk on....

These forums are for computer hardware and software issues, not anything else. There is a forum on the [H] where you can talk about whatever you want, but its not free.
 
The GM thread is where to talk about things off-topic. I'm guessing that whatever your thread was it was offtopic for where you posted it. If you really wanted to be sure you could always shoot a pm to the forum mod.

As far as the gen may they only take paypal. If you have an issue with that shoot an email to kyle.
 
I'm guessing a more proper subforum would have been the FS/FT>>Tips/Tricks&Trolls.

So you start a thread about your other thread being locked? Threads about other threads are lame.

I didn't see it as a "security" issue. I saw it as either a scam or a clueless ebay buyer. We're not a support forum for ebay or paypal and the Tips/Tricks&Trolls forum is for issues with trades that originated here.

And since this thread is off-topic for General Hardware...
