Looks like there's no PAX thread. Probably 'cause everyone's still there.
I just got home from my first day of it. Pretty cool.

There was a great presentation showing some game play in Prince of Persia and Farcry 2. Farcry looked really cool, and the level builder was amazing.

I went to a Q&A Panel about PC gaming hardware which was lame. The panel consisted of a guy from razer who couldn't have been more boring and a guy from Sun who games on his macbook. There was supposed to be a guy from intel who didn't show but I doubt it would've mattered.

The exhibition floor was fantastic though.

Anyone else go to PAX?
 
Yep.. I didn't expect so many games I cared about being playable on the exhibition hall.

Gears of War 2
Left4Dead
LittleBigPlanet
Starcraft 2
Fallout 3
Spore

Playing Starcraft 2 was enough to make my weekend. Also got to check out Major Nelson's presentation of the New Xbox Experience (apparently the presentation accessible to the public). The new dashboard seem pretty solid. I was also standing a person over from Tycho :)

Was LBP even remotely as fun as it looks in the videos? I am so hyped for this game it makes my stomach hurt knowing I have to wait another 2 months.

I haven't played it yet since there were so many other games I wanted to try out first (and had to wait in line for). I did watch a few people play the exhibition demo and it seemed liked they were having a good time. It is definitely the type of game where you need to play with other people to increase the fun factor. Playing by yourself doesn't seem that compelling to me.

Yeah, I saw that exhibit. Not that much into Crysis, so I skipped it.
 
I did the "Hell Cut" for a free copy of Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway (PC) :)
 
Wish I could have made it. Jumpgate Evolution was playable there.

When you filled out this piece of paper that asked for your name and address, it asked for your platform of choice: PS3, PC or 360. I thought it was 360 too! However I needed a haircut and would've just sold it or gave it to a friend.
 
Yup, went to PAX also...very cool. Favorites booths would be:

Gears 2
Fallout
Left 4 Dead
Blizz WoW/SC2
EA Spore/WAR

And The Behemoth's booth with Castle Crasher merchandise was definitely far out. Got myself 2 figures autographed. :)
