anyone have personal experience with it? If so, good? Bad? Lemme know. I'm thinking about ordering it for my new system (X2 4400, Asus a8n32-sli deluxe mobo). Thanks in advance.

It's much cheaper than the Corsair 3500LL, and overall it looks nice. I would recommend DDR500 sticks, since they can be had for cheaper and will aid you more in overclocking.

I was thinking about the DDR500 sticks. I'm just worried about getting a crappy overclockable x2 4400 and being stuck with DDR500 memory that can't do 2-3-2-5-1 or 2-2-2-5-1 timings at DDR400. Am I worrying too much about the DDR400 timing?

yeah, you are. also, don't forget that you can lower the multiplier below stock on a64's.. so if you get stuck only doing 2.5ghz on a 4400+ (kinda unlikely), you can still do 250x10 or 278x9

Or you could do 300x8.5 with a 5:6 divider

ok, i went and got the Mushkin eXtreem pc4000 (2gb) memory along with a bunch of other stuff from newegg. i'm still holding out of the video card. i'm hoping when the 7900gtx comes out, the 7800gtx prices will drop a little bit.
