I am now using Chrome as my primary browser, however I still use FF sometimes.

I want to get an add on with allows to "paste and go" as well as when right-clicking a highlighted URL allows a "go to" function like you get in Chrome.

I'm pretty stuck for ideas and a heads up would be ossum!

As I said - OSSUM! Thanks. :D

Wonder if there is anything that lets you highlight a link and go to it too?

Linkification can turn any text links (that aren't actually links) into actual links... yes that does make sense. :)

I also use Plain Text To Link which offers some more functionality, but it hasn't been updated in a long long time and I doubt it'll work properly with FF4 when it's finalized. I'll still be using FF 3.6.13 or later (if they bring out another update) for the foreseeable future. Just not interested in FF 4 yet, don't like the layout, and I'm not about to spend the time and effort to configure it since I have 3.6.13 pretty much perfect for my needs and particular habits of browsing.

Both of those options are default features in Firefox 4.

For the second one just right click and "open in new tab". which has been available for a long time, unless I'm reading you wrong on this one.
