Recently we had one of our family computers go down. I put together another one. Totally new AMD-64 System. Got it all up and running old HD boots etc on the new OS. Now I have a problem.
+++The old files cannot be transfered because they are write protected due to the user having a password on their account for windows. I do not know how to transfer the files and I cant even open them. So how do I unlock them (must be standard Windows XP password lock) so that I can transfer them to the new HD?
Any help would be appreciated.
